Gin and champagne in the same glass sounds dangerously good. Because it is. Named after a WWI cannon because of the kick. You have been warned.
Fill a cocktail shaker with Ice.
Add the Gin, Fresh lemon juice, and Sugar syrup.
Shake for 10 seconds until very cold.
Strain into a chilled Champagne flute.
Top slowly with Champagne or prosecco, pouring it down the inside of the glass to preserve the bubbles.
Twist the Lemon twist over the glass to express the oils, then drape it on the rim.
