A British classic that never went out of style. Crisp lettuce, juicy prawns and that sauce. Proper retro and absolutely delicious.
Mix the Mayonnaise, Tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Lemon juice, and a couple of dashes of Tabasco in a bowl to make the Marie Rose sauce (the classic pink prawn cocktail sauce). Taste — it should be tangy, creamy, and a little fiery.
Shred the Iceberg lettuce finely and divide between serving glasses.
Pile the Cooked king prawns on top of the lettuce.
Spoon the Marie Rose sauce generously over the prawns.
Dust with Paprika.
Serve chilled with Brown bread and butter on the side.
